2011 Church Report Form
Each year with your assistance we compile the Outreach 100, a bonus issue
featuring the Outreach Magazine / LifeWay Research Special Report of the
country’s Largest and Fastest-Growing Churches. We are gathering data in the
spring; the Outreach 100 is published in September.
Should your church be included?
Each year as part of this project LifeWay Research surveys churches across the
U.S. to determine their average weekend worship attendance.
Last year’s Largest Churches ranged in size from 5,600 to 43,500.
Fastest-Growing Churches added at least 300 people, grew at least 5 percent and
ran 1,000 or more in attendance. The numbers are based on average weekend
attendance for February and March, compared to February and March of the
previous year. As part of the survey process, our partner, LifeWay Research,
contacts thousands of churches by phone, fax, e-mail and certified letter to
confirm survey data. We don’t want to miss a single church that should be
included. So we want your help.
You can submit your church's information by downloading the Survey Form and
faxing it to LifeWay Research or by emailing Lizette Beard, the project manager,
and asking for the Outreach 100 Survey Form..
The stories behind the numbers
Ultimately, the Outreach 100 is not about numbers alone, but about the stories
of transformation the numbers represent. We want to know what we can learn from
America’s Largest and Fastest-Growing Churches—and we want to celebrate the
people they are reaching. The Outreach 100 is not just our annual research
issue, it also features inspirational and informative stories and church-tested
outreach ideas for any church, any size. We want to hear your story. We want to
share your ideas.
For consideration in the 2011 Outreach 100, please submit your form by April 21,
2011.
Each issue of Outreach is designed to bring you the ideas, innovations and
resources that will help you reach your community and change the world. Your
subscription to Outreach includes the Outreach 100 bonus issue.
