Ask Members to Commit to Weekly Worship, Serving and Bible Study

Savannah Christian Church in Savannah, Ga., asks members to spend one hour every week in each of the following: worship, serving and studying the Bible. To make it easy for people to rise to the challenge, the church offers, on each of its four campuses, two Saturday and two Sunday services; an education hour; and a Ministry Expo, where every ministry has a booth. According to Evangelism Pastor Harrison Huxford, it’s working. “We believe if you’re doing these things, you begin to achieve the life Jesus had in store for you. And we’re hearing the stories of life change all the time within our different ministries and small groups.”
