In Each Issue of Outreach Magazine
The Pulse of outreach today; Ideas for any church, any size; Voices from outside the Church and more
Outreach magazine is committed to bringing you ideas, innovations and resources to help you reach your community and change the world.
We search for the stories and ideas of churches and church leaders throughout the world to inspire, challenge and equip you in your mission of reaching people far from God. Stories, research, insights and the practical ideas you can read today and put into practice tomorrow.
In each issue of Outreach magazine, you’ll find:
We take the Pulse of outreach today as we report on what churches worldwide are doing to connect with their communities and put their faith in action. Pulse includes focused sections on cross-cultural, children's, youth and seniors' outreach efforts, plus the people profile, "Soulfires," a personal story of the passion that ignites ministry.
In Ideas, we get as practical as we can as we talk about church-tested ideas for seasonal and targeted ministries for any church, any size. The Ideas department includes the “Tech” column (practical applications of technology); “Small Church, Big Idea”; “Connections (how churches are closing the back door and integrating newcomers into the life of the church); and "Exponential Church" (church planter highlights and the changing landscape of church planting).
When you flip to the back of the magazine, you find Voices From Outside the Church, three quick features that bring perspective from the other side of the church walls. The "My Life, So Far" column introduces one person, perhaps an author or media personality, and offers their viewpoints on life, spirituality and the Church. "Mystery Visitor" provides a new slant on how churches are or aren’t responding to visitors through the eyes of an anonymous, not-yet-believing guest—real visits to real churches. "The Question" takes you to the street, as random people respond to provocative questions, like "Who is Jesus?" "Is life fair?" "What do you think of the Church?" "Does God talk to people today?"
